Hyperautomation

What is hyperautomation?

Hyperautomation is automating business processes as broadly as possible by combining techniques such as RPA, workflow automation, integrations and AI, rather than automating individual tasks in isolation.

Also known as hyper-automationintelligent automation

The term comes from the research firm Gartner and describes a shift: not automating one task, but a whole process, with the technique that suits each step. Fixed actions go to RPA or an integration, unstructured input such as emails and documents to AI, and decisions that carry risk to a person. How we choose that mix per process is covered under AI automation.

The word sounds bigger than it is. In practice it mainly means: look at the whole chain instead of the individual steps, and make sure the parts work together through connected systems. A process that is half automated, with manual work in between, often delivers less than you expect.

At United Lease you can see how it comes together: an AI agent handles the intake via WhatsApp, recognises and reads the documents supplied, qualifies the lead and puts it straight into the CRM. One continuous process, where previously every step involved manual work.
