AI for healthcare

More time for the patient, less time for the paperwork

Care professionals spend a large part of their working week on recording and reporting instead of on care. We deploy AI in a way that eases that burden, safely within the GDPR and with the professional in control.

AI for healthcare

Trusted by

Who it is for

For care providers, care institutions and healthtech companies stuck on administration and staff shortages.

Demand for care is rising, hands are becoming scarcer and the registration burden remains high. At the same time, every new AI tool is held under a strict magnifying glass of privacy, reliability and ultimate accountability.

  1. Too much time spent on recording

Documentation, reporting in the EHR and mandatory registrations swallow a substantial part of the working week. Those hours come off direct care and feed the workload that ultimately drives people out of the profession.

  2. Information is scattered and hard to retrieve

Client records, protocols, guidelines and emails live in separate systems that talk to each other poorly. A simple question, such as what was agreed or which guideline applies here, therefore takes an unnecessary amount of searching.

  3. Wanting AI, but not daring to, because of privacy and reliability

A chatbot that leaks patient data or presents an incorrect answer as fact is a real risk. Without clear boundaries around the GDPR, the NEN 7510 standard and human oversight, promising AI stays on the shelf.

AI that eases the burden without taking over the responsibility.

Concrete applications that fit your daily work and your existing systems, not a demo.

Documentation

Reporting in a fraction of the time

With AI agents you record a care moment or intake conversation in plain spoken language and get back a structured, readable draft that fits your EHR. The professional reviews and signs off, so the record is accurate and you are done with your administration sooner. Live in two to four weeks.

Unlocking knowledge

One place to query your own sources

With AIOS, our AI Operating System, you bring records, protocols and guidelines together and simply ask a question in plain English. You get an answer with the source attached, so you know where it comes from and nothing ends up outside your own environment.

First know where AI pays off, then build

In a fourteen-day AI audit we map out your processes and deliver a prioritised opportunity report with the expected return per opportunity, tested for privacy and feasibility. That way you invest in applications that genuinely deliver, and we tell you honestly what is not yet possible.

Frequently asked questions

Questions you probably have too.

How much time can AI save on administration in healthcare?

That varies by process and organisation, so we do not promise a fixed percentage. The biggest gains are usually in documentation and reporting, because there AI produces a first draft that the professional only needs to review. In an AI audit we measure the realistic time saving per process before you build anything.

Is AI in healthcare safe and is it allowed under the GDPR?

Yes, provided you set it up properly. AI is allowed in healthcare, but personal data must be protected in line with the GDPR and care standards such as NEN 7510, and the care professional remains ultimately accountable. We build applications that run within your own, shielded environment and that never simply send patient data to a public chatbot.

Does AI take decisions away from the care provider?

No. AI supports, the professional decides. In our solutions AI supplies a draft, a summary or a suggestion, and the care provider reviews and signs off. The responsibility and the judgement remain firmly with the human.

Does AI work with our existing EHR?

That is the starting point. We do not replace your records system, but build applications and integrations that connect to it, so information ends up in the right place. In the audit we test up front which integrations are feasible, because not every connection can simply be made.

What if the AI gives a wrong answer?

That is why we never let AI have the last word in care situations. Answers come with the source attached, so a professional can check what something is based on, and critical steps always require human sign-off. That prevents an incorrect answer from being adopted unseen.

We build healthcare software ourselves. Can Innoworks help us add AI?

Yes. We also work with healthcare software and healthtech companies that want to add AI functionality to their product, for example smart summaries, search functions or automations. With custom AI software and AI consultancy we help as a technical sounding board and build partner, so you go live faster and more safely.
